Discover the beauty of the three Baltic capitals – Gothic and Baroque Vilnius, Art Nouveau Riga, medieval fairytale-like Tallinn .Continue the tour to Saint Petersburg, the imperial capital of Russia for 200 years with its Baroque grandeur of palaces and timeless cultural masterpieces. Founded by the Russian Tsar Peter the Great in 1703, it preserved its historic architecture of the 18th-19th centuries, now listed by UNESCO in the World Heritage list. The Baroque Winter Palace, former official residence of Russian tsars, now houses Hermitage, one of the largest art museums in the world. At noon hear a blank shot fired from Peter and Paul Fortress. Walk along granite embankments along the Neva River and its numerous canals with 22 decorative bridges accross them. Due to many water corridors St.Petersburg is often called the Venice of the North or the Russian Venice. Visit the surburban imperial residences ,winter and summer palaces of the Russian tsars. Admire amazing fountain cascades and parks in Peterhof ,the Russian Versailles.


Day 1Arrival to Vilnius

Arrival to Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania. Representitives of „Lithuanian Holidays“ welcome guests at the airport and hand out the tour information. Transfer to 4* centrally located hotel „Amberton Vilnius“. Accommodation. Free time for the first acquaintance with the city. Overnight in Vilnius.

Day 2Vilnius - Тrakai

Morning Vilnius City Tour includes the most interesting 16th – 18th c. historical and architectural sights of the Old Town (UNESCO): the Cathedral Square, the red Gediminas Castle Tower, the Gothic St. Anne’s Church, the Vilnius University and the Gates of Dawn. After the tour a pleasant 28km drive to Trakai, the ancient capital of Lithuania, amidst five picturesque lakes. The city is famous for 15th c. Gothic Castle on the island, now housing a History Museum. Visit to the castle. Return to Vilnius for overnight.

Day 3Vilnius - Riga

Morning transfer with a tour guide to Riga, the capital of Latvia. En route a stop at Rundale. Visit the magnificent palace built by famous architect Rastrelli. Arrival to Riga. Accommodation at 4* centrally located hotel „Justus“. Overnight in Riga.

Day 4Riga

Morning Riga City Tour includes the landmark of Riga 123,5 m high Tower of St. Peter’s Church, the Dome Cathedral, the house of the Blackheads, St. Jacob’s Church, the Great and Small Guilds. Get acquainted with the Albert Street – a famous area of Art Nouveau architecture. Afternoon free.

Day 5Riga- Tallinn

Morning transfer with a tour guide to Tallinn, the capital of Estonia. En route stop at Sigulda, the Latvian Switzerland, where you can feel the atmosphere of the Middle Ages from the ruins of the 13th century Castle. Visit to the Turaida castle and listen to a romantic legend about the Rose of Turaida. After arrival to Tallinn accommodation at 4* centrally located hotel „The von Stackelberg“. Evening free.

Day 6Тallinn

Morning Tallinn City includes the Toompea Hill, where Tallinn was founded in 12th century, the Dome Cathedral, the House of Parliament, the Alexander Nevsky Cathedral, the Town Hall square, etc. A drive to Kadriorg and Pirita regions to visit the outskirts of Tallinn with the famous 15th century ruins of St. Bridget’s monastery, Kadriorg palace, etc. Afternoon free.

Day 7Tallinn – St. Petersburg

After breakfast departure to St. Petersburg via Narva. In the evening the group comes to St. Petersburg, the former capital of Imperial Russia, home of the Tsars and one of the world’s most beautiful and romantic cities. St. Petersburg was founded by Tsar Peter the Great in 1703 on the banks of the Neva River and the Gulf of Finland. Today, St. Petersburg is Russia’s second largest city with a population of over 5 million. It is also known as the center of Russian art, culture and literature – former citizens included Pushkin and Dostoevsky just to name a few. Accommodation at hotel and overnight.

Day 8St. Petersburg: Hermitage & Isaac’s Cathedral

Morning meeting with guide at the hotel go on an amazing panoramic city tour around the most cherished gems of St. Petersburg, including Palace Square, the Peter and Paul Fortress , the Mariinsky Theater, Nevsky Prospect and many other popular attractions. You visit the St. Isaac’s Cathedral, the largest Russian Orthodox cathedral and one of Russia’s greatest works of architecture. The cathedral itself is an architectural marvel: its exquisite decoration consists of rare minerals and semi-precious stones, as well as incredible paintings, sculptures, and mosaics.
After a break for lunch you go to the legendary Hermitage Museum to see its unique collection of world art. During the tour, you visit the halls of the Winter Palace to explore the main collection of the Hermitage, including the masterpieces of Leonardo da Vinci, Rembrandt, El Greco, Francisco Goya and Thomas Gainsborough etc. Back to hotel and overnight.

Day 9Pavlovsk & Peterhof

After breakfast trip to Pavlovsk. Pavlovsk is a former Summer residence of Emperor Paul I and his wife. It is a wonderful summer palace with a huge English type landscape park around it. It was constructed at the end of the 18th century. Its delicate, elegant and harmonious classical style interiors will not display bright and luxurious gildings which are so typical for the Russian baroque. Instead it will strike you with its own special charm, impeccable proportions and perfect taste. A further drive to Peterhof, the former summer residence of Russian tsars and the gem of palace architecture. The town with its beautiful parks, palaces and fountains is a jewel of Russian history, art and culture. During the tour, you see the Grand Palace – the largest and the most famous building of the Imperial residence and take a walk in the beautiful Lower Park, lavishly adorned with 176 fountains and 4 monumental cascades of various forms and styles and numerous gilded statues of ancient gods and heroes. There are several small palaces and pavilions on the park territory, such as the Monplaisir, Catherine’s Block, Marli, Hermitage, the Bath Block and many more.

Day 10Departure from St. Petersburg

After breakfast escorted transfer to airport.
